Recently there have been many company policies and government decrees mandating COVID19. Many individuals are attempting to use their spiritual faith in order to gain exemptions from receiving vaccines and to avoid these Covid-19 mandates.  Upon discovery and inspection of these manipulations, the Order of the Red Grail was appalled. In the spirit of Love and Trust, The Order of the Red Grail - Church of Transformational Wicca, declares: 
 
The Order will not grant a religious exemption to receive the vaccine for Covid-19. 
 
Individual rights end at the boundary of the rights of another. One person's right to not be vaccinated does not take precedence over the rights of another to remain safe, especially when many in our community are already at risk due to age or pre-existing conditions.  Barring medical cases where an individual is allergic to the vaccine as it can harm the individual, the clergy and church board agree that it is a societal responsibility to receive vaccinations.  If there are medical exemptions, these are to be issued by authentic medical practitioners and not by licensed clergy.  In examination and in accordance with the Rede, the danger of causing harm to ourselves and to the community at large would go against one of our main tenets of our faith.  Upon further meditation on the Rede and other Pagan texts regarding ethics, the Order holds that the danger of causing harm to ourselves and to the community at large by choosing to remain unvaccinated goes against the foundation of our beliefs.

There’s scam going round involving impersonating ministry leaders. You’ll get an email from someone posing as clergy member or church leader asking you to buy gift cards for some charity or on behalf of some people. The scammer also asks that you just keep in contact via email rather than try to call because of limited phone access.
I know most of y’all are savvy and wouldn’t fall for this, but during this time of uncertainty, scummy people will come out of the woodwork to take advantage of others. If you know someone who might vulnerable to these schemes, please take the time to warn them.
