In July of 1994, I became High Priestess of the Order of the Red Grail. Since 2007, I have aggressively trained both Inner and Outer Court coveners in the arts of teaching, leadership, and ritual. Our “staff” of talented up-and-coming priests and priestesses allows me to attend to administrative and ministry duties. As co-founder of the Order of the Red Grail, Church of Transformational Wicca, I continue to hope to model ethical, informed, and intelligent skills in areas necessary for Wiccan Clergy to be effective and accepted in both public and private domains, for the betterment of all. A college professor by trade, I work hard to develop our Students, Scions, and Initiates. Mentoring, promoting cooperation over collaboration, developing group dynamics, and hands- on instruction are essential components of the Grail's functions. My spiritual and professional life intersect in my work with our members; I received my Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Human Sciences, majoring in Career Education. My specialization lies in the cognitive aspects of adult teaching and learning.
One of my passions is prison outreach. I facilitate correspondence with upwards of 50 inmates every month, provide educational materials and books, and advocate for prison reform. It is my belief that connecting inmates with both the divine masculine and feminine assists in reducing recidivism and assists in the holistic healing process that many inmates most go through.
I am a firm believer in becoming a visible and active part of our greater community. As High Witche, I have led the Grail in park cleanups, supporting a thrift store that assisted at-risk youth, and in developing programming for the local Unitarian church's Winter Solstice celebrations.
